I'm glad that we have gotten a rating of note, but obviously, I'm aware that this rating is purely subjective (especially on a website sponsored by Jamesons when we don't even carry said product). While this is obviously good thing for business, as an employee of motel I'm inclined to believe that such a rating is dependent on the time of one's visit. In the weekends the bar is often chock-full of people and it gets pretty hard to find a seat, let alone get a good round of cocktails. Unfortunately, as a small operation that is part of a bigger business, sometimes in the weekends we have to let more people into the bar than is optimal for the level of service we would like to provide, and as a result people may not get the level of service they deserve or expect. During the week, however (which is often less busy), one can get a drink tailor-made to how one is feeling, or a drink that shows the expertise and knowledge of the bar staff. Personally (as one who doesn't work during the week), I'm looking forward to an influx of customers this weekend who will be brought into motel by friends who are more than eager to show off their knowledge of our bar, and am delighted to be able to serve such customers; unfortunately being a small bar with a small number of staff (and having lost one recently), I fear not everyone will be able to enjoy motel's full service.

My advice? Come in during the week sometime, when we- the staff- can pay our undivided attention to you, our guest.
