It was more of a "I took the order, now who gets him the beer?" And then later, "how do we collect payment?"

The waitress asked if I had a tab when I ordered, I said "no", and she replied "ok" and walked off. We laughed and wondered if that I meant I could have a beer or not. (I could).

The whole thing was more funny than annoying though
